THE PECK FAMILY

Simply Smoked Catering, is owned and operated by Adam Peck. Adam was raised in Cabarrus County, NC. Adam graduated from Central High School and served as a Cabarrus County Sheriff's Deputy for over ten years, before he started his career in the food industry. 

Adam's restaurant and cooking experience began with his partnership at Brooklyn's Pizzeria at 49/601, in 2014. Adam began smoking meat as a hobby. As friends and family began tasting his smoked and grilled meats, he received multiple compliments and requests for more food. He has prepared food for multiple fundraiser events and private parties. Finally, after years of receiving encouraging suggestions to sell his smoked and grilled meats, Adam decided he would open a catering business and mobile food unit to sell his best recipes. 

On a personal note, Adam married Bethany, in 2011. They have two children, Lincoln (11), and Sawyer (8). Outside of cooking, Adam enjoys coaching football, and spends many hours volunteering his time at their church, Community Church of Mt. Pleasant. His boys are his greatest joy, and he loves anything that involves spending time with them.
